Subscription and refund terms
Last updated October 17, 2026
We wrote these terms in plain language because unclear billing is one of the most common complaints about subscriptions. If anything here is unclear, email support@pianolessonsapp.com.
Plans and prices
- Yearly: $119.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new members.
- Monthly: $19.99 per month, no free trial.
- Family yearly: $179.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new members.
Prices are in US dollars.
Free trials
When you start a trial we save your payment method but charge nothing. The exact charge date and amount are shown on the checkout button and in your confirmation email. We send a reminder email 3 days before the trial ends. Cancel any time before that date and you will not be charged. One free trial per person.
Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If you joined with the intro offer, your first year is 20% off and later years renew at the regular price shown at checkout. For yearly plans we email you 3 days before each renewal. If we ever change the regular price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
Taxes
Prices are shown before sales tax or VAT. Checkout adds any tax due where you live and shows the total before you pay.
How to cancel
Open Account, sign in with your email (we send a one-time code) and press Cancel. You get an on-screen and email confirmation. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings; we link to them from your account page.
Refunds
If you are not happy, email support@pianolessonsapp.com within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, without questions. After that, cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Purchases made through Apple or Google are refunded through their own refund process; we will help you request it.
Who provides the service
The app and lessons are provided by [Company legal name], [Registered address]. Web purchases are processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), which acts as merchant of record: Polar appears on your card statement, issues your receipt and handles sales tax or VAT.
